Hey, my name is Neil, welcome to Home Brewing at Mash.Sparge.Boil. This blog has been created with the intention to talk all things home brewing and beer. I myself am a keen home brewer so what I’m hoping to do is create a set of articles discussing how I go about making my own beer, as well as having a strong emphasis on all sorts of brewing stuff in general.

Hopefully this will help some of you guys withyour brewing as well as developing my own techniques and skills as I write about stuff here.

I have been brewing for about 7 years now and from that very first brew I knew I was onto something great. Brewing my own beer started as a way to get cheap booze but now has become so much more than that to me. It allows me to create things I can’t get anywhere else and also drinking something that you have created from raw ingredients gives a great feeling of accomplishment.

All that I really want to do here is create an outlet for some chat about home brewing so my girlfriend doesn’t get fed up with me drivelling on about it anymore so much.
