Beer Colour Infographic
A lot of time when I’m brewing the colour of a beer is an afterthought. Obviously if I’m brewing a Stout or Porter of some kind I know it’s going to be dark. I wouldn’t really factor it into my recipe though. I do however check out the final colour of the beer to see roughly where it has turned out.
Many Colours of Beer
With that in mind I decided to create a poster with reference colours on between 1 and 30 SRM (upwards of 30 SRM is pretty much black). If you don’t know what SRM means then check out the poster. Bear in mind I’m not a graphic designer or anything so don’t expect too much.
